The technique

What is a Russian manicure?

A Russian manicure, also known as an e-file manicure or dry manicure, is a detailed nail-care technique that focuses on carefully cleaning and preparing the cuticle area using professional electric-file bits instead of soaking the hands in water.

Why dry

Precision you can see.

The technique allows the nail technician to work more precisely around the cuticle and sidewalls of the nail. Water swells the skin and hides the true cuticle line; working dry, with fine bits, nothing is left behind.

The result? An exceptionally clean manicure with polish applied close to the cuticle, creating a seamless, freshly done appearance that can look beautiful for weeks.

With gel, we finish with a structured overlay: an apex built into the gel for strength, tailored to the shape and length of your nails. It grows out without lifting, so your next visit is a refresh, not a rescue.

01
Shape

Length and shape are set first, almond to square, so the overlay is built for the final silhouette.

02
E-file cuticle work

Dry, with professional electric-file bits. No soaking, no swelling, no missed skin.

03
Gentle buffing

The nail plate is prepared without thinning it. Natural nails stay healthy underneath.

04
Structured gel

A structured overlay with an apex for strength. Color, French, chrome or hand-painted art on top.

05
Rebook in 3-4 weeks

Removal of a Pixie set is free when you book your next service in the same appointment.
